Webinar series announced following DVB World cancellation
We are pleased to announce that a series of free webinars drawn from the programme of DVB World 2020 will be offered over the coming weeks. The event, which should have taken place in Valencia this week, was cancelled owing to the COVID-19 situation.
Additionally, the dates for DVB World 2021 have been announced. The event will take place in Berlin on 22–24 March next year.

- Codecs, standards and UHD formats – where is the industry headed? (Mon 23 March) – in collaboration with the Ultra HD Forum
- Encoding and packaging for DVB-I services (Fri 27 March)
- Beam hopping in DVB-S2X (Mon 30 March)
- DASH: from on-demand to large scale live for premium services (Tue 31 March) – in collaboration with the DASH Industry Forum
- DVB-I Service Lists & Programme Information (Wed 1 April)
- Building a reference client for DVB-I (Mon 6 April)
Registration
The webinars will take place on the Zoom platform. A short registration process is required for each webinar, following which you will be sent the link to access the event. “Save to calendar” links will also be provided.
