DVB-T2 to be introduced in Sri Lanka

DVB-T2 will be introduced to all television channels in Sri Lanka by the year 2015. South Africa: DVB-T2 update

The recently started DVB-T2 trial in South Africa is going very well and is currently transmitting 18 channels over Johannesburg. The Southern African Digital Broadcasting Association (SADIBA) has released data supporting the adoption of DVB-T2 or DVB-T over the ISDB-T system. The comparison concludes that DVB-T is slightly better than ISDB-T and that DVB-T2 outperforms both "by leaps and bounds". Read More
