Canal 13 TV launches on Spanish DTT

A new general interest digital terrestrial channel Canal 13 TV will launch as a free-to-air service on the multiplex from Unidad Editorial later this month, reports Broadband TV News. The channel aims to support “traditional family values” and will include a daily mass.
The catholic broadcaster Cadena COPE will also take a 10% share in the new channel alongside a group of investors.
Canal 13 TV is part of the Veo Television owned by Unidad Editorial, which also comprises FTA channels Veo TV, Marca TV and the pay-TV channel AXN.
