As of April 1 2014, all TV's larger than 32 inches sold in Vietnam must comply to the combination of DVB-T2 and MPEG4. From April 1, 2015, the standard will be mandated for TV sets with smaller (under 32 inch) screens as well. All major Japanese and Korean manufacturers are ready and many had already followed the standards since late 2013.
