Patent management company Sisvel has announced the establishment of a joint licensing program for patents essential to the implementation of DVB-H. A summary of proposed royalty rates indicates a sliding scale from EUR 0.70 down to EUR 0.20, on a per-unit basis, with a further percentage reduction offered in each of the next four years to encourage early adoption.
