On April 22 Germany’s Technische Universitaet Braunschweig carried out the first-ever live DVB-C2 transmission. This milestone test showed that all the predictions were correct and confirmed that DVB-C2 can offer a capacity increase of 60% compared to DVB-C. On May 4th, the ReDeSign Project demonstrated the world’s first public DVB-C2 live transmission at ANGA Cable 2010.
