DVB seeks additional exhibitors for virtual showcase
Usually at this time of year, we would be putting the final touches to one or more demonstrations for our booth at IBC in Amsterdam. It is our key annual landmark to showcase progress with DVB specifications. This year we plan to do that at a new virtual event, planned for Thursday 26 November.
DVB DEMOS 2020 will consist of two parts: during the morning there will be a live stream of short, sharp demonstrations of products and services based on DVB’s newest generation of internet-centric specifications. And then in the afternoon, attendees will be invited to speak directly with the “exhibitors” in a series of online breakout rooms, offering an opportunity to network and discuss the morning’s demos in more detail.
Fourteen companies have already confirmed their intent to participate as exhibitors. They are the DVB Members ATEME, Broadpeak, ENENSYS Technologies, Dolby, Google, Harmonic, Kineton, SES, Unified Streaming and Verance, along with non-members DTVKit, Mediathand, OnScreen Publishing and Sofia Digital. Discussions are ongoing with other companies.

DVB Members can participate as exhibitors free-of-charge; a fee will be charged to non-members.
Free to attend
The event itself will be free to attend for all, although registration will be required for the afternoon networking session. The demos session will be streamed live on the DVB website, YouTube and LinkedIn and a recording will be made available after the event.
