Background
The recently launched UHD Service Tracker from the Ultra HD Forum shows robust growth with 150 commercial UHD services – from just 50 less than three years ago. DVB specifications underpin the majority of services that an estimated 300 million viewers around the world consume in UHD. So, is UHD now mainstream, or has it still got to prove itself? Will the COVID-19 lockdowns accelerate or slow down UHD penetration?
This free webinar, offered in collaboration with the Ultra HD Forum, marked the launch of the UHD Service Tracker by providing an overview of both the market and the technology underpinning it.
