Webinar: When USB meets pay-TV – an update on CI Plus
Thursday 20 May, 15:00–16:00 CEST
The DVB Common Interface (CI) specifications are a key enabler for pay-TV services around the world. DVB-CI allows a removable Conditional Access Module (CAM), given the appropriate rights, to unscramble protected content and route it back to the host over the same interface. Extensions to DVB-CI were added by CI Plus LLP, and DVB in turn has extended the CI Plus specs in recent years.
The most recent updates to the CI specifications included the introduction of the USB form factor and the addition of overt watermarking as an option.
This webinar will provide an overview of the CI Plus ecosystem, including these latest developments, along with updates on product testing and market deployment.
