What happened post-Munich? Webinar to explore outcomes of DVB World 2024

A webinar on Tuesday 12 November at 14:00 CET will explore the outcomes of the unconference sessions at DVB World 2024. During the closing circle at the gathering in Munich, a series of actions were captured. This webinar will run through each action and ask “what happened next?”.

At DVB World 2024, for the third year running, the centrepiece of the event was a full-day unconference, with the attendees proposing topics for discussion. A total of 31 sessions were placed on the agenda (pictured above) and held throughout the day, covering areas such as potential new work for DVB, implementation challenges for existing solutions, possibilities for collaboration with other organizations, and high-level strategic discussions about the future of media delivery.

Session hosts were asked to ensure that, where possible, “next steps” were defined for the topic in question. In most cases, this led to one or more actions being captured. The aim of next week’s webinar is to follow up on those actions, to see which ones were taken and what they led to.

The webinar will also provide information on the plans for DVB World 2025, which returns to Munich on 18 and 19 March.
