Two applicants for DTT license

The communications regulator Slovak Telecommunications Office (TU SR) announced that it has received two applications for its tender to operate the fourth DTT multiplex.
The applications were received from Telecom Corp and the broadcast network operator Towercom and the next step is for the two applications to be reviewed by a five-person Selection Committee established by TU-SR.
The successful applicant will be able to choose between the DVB-T or DVB-T2 standards for the transmission of its service.
