Telefónica meets customer target
Spanish telecoms operator Telefónica has met its target of more than 200,000 subscribers for its hybrid internet protocol television (IPTV) and digital terrestrial television (DTT) service, Imagenio.
The service was launched less than a year ago in Madrid and Barcelona and is now available to 4m households in 140 cities. The hybrid DTT/IPTV boxes were produced by Advanced Digital Broadcasting (ADB).
