Single DTT pay concession, okay

Norges Television (NTV) is no longer required to hold back capacity for a second Pay-TV operator, reports Broadband TV News.
The new ruling from the Ministry of Culture and Church Affairs follows a petition by NTV to vary the previous requirement to hold capacity for a second Pay-TV operator.
NTV argued that there was already sufficient competition between operators.
The additional capacity was to have been reserved in Multiplexes 4 and 5, which are to launch after analogue switch off in the summer of 2010.
