RTL DTT possible in Leipzig and Halle

RTL is reported to be looking to acquire a DTT multiplex covering the cities of Leipzig and Halle according to Broadband TV News.
Interest has been stimulated by the likelihood that the regional media authority will open applications for a new multiplex soon.
Recently RTL received permission to launch DTT services in the Stuttgart area using MPEG-4 coding for both a Free to view and a Pay TV services and employing encryption from Conax. For more detail see the previous item below.
