Rome is Digital TV only

Today, the 16th November, Rome will complete the switch off of all analogue terrestrial transmitters and go completely DTT.
The switch-off began across the Lazio region earlier this year. TV channels Rai Due and Rete 4 have only been available over digital terrestrial since 16 June 2009. All analogue transmitters will be switched off across Lazio between the 16th and 30th November 2009.
To help with the transition to DTT the government has been making a receiver purchase subsidy of €50 available to over 65’s who have an annual income of less than €10,000 a year,
