Polish mobile operators prepare DVB-H bid

According to Wirtualne Media the Mobile TV consortium made up from the country’s four mobile operators will submit a bid for an operator’s licence by the tender deadline of the 15th January, reports Broadband TV News.
Each of the four members has been allocated specific tasks in a future DVB-H service. ‘Orange’ would take care of finance and administration, ‘ERA’ would oversee the network, ‘Plus’ would be responsible for the headend, provision of the EPG and ‘Play’ the content for the service.’
