Poland’s Second DTT MUX attracts interest


A total of ten separate organisations have so far expressed an interest in being carried on Poland’s second DTT multiplex, reports Broadband TV News.
The figures are said to have been released by the Office of Electronic Communication (UKE) to Wirtualne Media.
The next step is for the UKE and its fellow regulator the National Broadcast Council (KRRiT) to issue a tender and seek competitive bits for the operation of channels on the multiplex.
In all there are seven slots available
The platform is expected to be launched next year.
