Pay-DTT subs up

Subscriptions for Spain’s Pay-DTT TV service had grown 5.5% year on year by Q1 2011. In total there were 366,812 subscribers to the Pay-DTT offering. However DTT currently only has a small share of this market which is dominated by satellite and cable with 1,785,905 and 1,376,364 subscribers respectively. IPTV stands at 866,360 up 1.4% from last year.
In total (including TV to mobile) the Pay-TV market subs reached 5,033,781 by the end of the Q1 2011 measuring period.
