Pay-DTT Launches in Hungary

Antenna Hungária will launch a 10-channel pay-DTT TV service, named MinDig TV Extra, on the 25th May.
The television channels on offer are National Geographic, AXN, Film+, Cool, Sport Klub, Disney Channel, FEM3, Hir TV, ATV and Private Spice. These new pay-TV channels complement the existing 7 free-to-air services which are already available on the MiniDig DTT platform, three of which are in HD.
The Pay-TV platform uses DVB-T and programmes coded using the MPEG-4, H.264 audio visual codec as well as Conax conditional access.
It will be available to 95% of the population by the end of the year.
