Over 1 million DTT receivers sold in December

Impulsa DTT reports that over 1 million DTT receivers were sold during December considerably exceeding its previous 800,000 estimate published in November. As well as the sales in December an additional 7.1 million receivers were sold during 2008 bringing the new total of units sold since the launch of DTT services to 15.2 million.
DTT services are available to 92.38% of the population and 47.35 of the population access DTT services. A total of 65.6% of collective antennas have been upgraded for DTT reception.
