New date for analogue switch off

Domazlice is still set to be the first area to switch of its analogue TV transmitters and begin broadcasting only in the DVB-T digital format. The original date for this to happen has now been changed from the 30th June to the 31st August.
Broadband TV News reports that the Czech Telecom Office (CTU) has agreed the new date.
The complete transition to digital, in the Czech Republic, should be completed by 2010.
