Nearly one-third of Dutch TV connections are digital

The total number of Dutch TV connections reached 7.027 million at the end of Q2, 2007 according to Telecompaper’s quarterly update. Cable continues to dominate the total TV market with a share of 87.5%. Cables share of the Digital market grew by 1.2% during the quarter to reach a share of 60.2%.
Telecompaper estimates that the total Dutch digital TV customer base will reach 2.6 million by the end of the year.
