On top of the very positive DVB-T2 developments in Africa, things are moving in other countries as well.

France’s regulator CSA has written a detailed report recommending that France switch to DVB-T2 very soon in order to be able to host more HD channels and be more future-proof. (Source: Broadband TV News). You can read the full CSA recommendation (in French) here.

Croatia’s regulator is recommending a mix of DVB-T and DVB-T2 receivers for its (future) DTT services and also looks set to adopt DVB-T2 in the very near future. (Source: Broadband TV News). You can read the full recommendation (in Croation) here.

Following trials in Kuala Lumpur earlier this year, Malaysia is also expected to announce its DVB-T2 adoption in the coming weeks/months.
