More DVB-T2 tests in Munich


Bayerische Rundfunk (BR), the public broadcaster for Bavaria, has launched a DVB-T2 test transmission in the city of Munich. The broadcasts of both SD and HD content are from the Freimann transmitter using programme material from Das Erste HD, Das Erste and Bayerische Fernsehen.
The transmissions which are for test purposes only are Free to air and available on channel 50. The BR tests follow earlier transmissions in Munich from IRT.
The tests will be extended to a three transmitter Single Frequency Network during 2011
