MiniDig TV service extends coverage

The Hungarian DTT platform MinDig TV will effectively become a national service this month, with the addition of 14 new sites raising the coverage to 95% of the population.
MiniDig TV has two programme packages, MiniDigTV which is a Free to Air service and MiniDigTV Extra which broadcasts Pay to View services.
Antenna Hungaria gives the number of households subscribing to MiniDig TV as 120,000 According to October figures 10% of Hungarian TV households are equipped to receive DVB-T, MPEG-4 coded programmes.
