Mediaset to launch two new free-to-air DTT channels


Mediaset has announced the launch of two new free-to-air digital terrestrial channels on its DTT platform.
The first new channel, IRIS, will begin broadcasting on Friday the 30th November mainly focusing on cinema but also providing sit-coms, TV dramas, documentaries concerts of classical music and opera as well as theatre.
The second, BIS, launching in the first half of 2008, will focus on the history of commercial TV, providing the chance to watch many of the hit entertainment shows previously featured on Mediaset over its past twenty-five years of operation.
