Kyrgyzstan Launches DVB-T2

Last December Kyrgyzstan national operator Kyrgyztelecom has launched its first digital terrestrial TV transmission using the DVB-T2 standard in Bishkek. The launch is the first step of the operator’s plan to introduce terrestrial digital TV in Kyrgyzstan. Kyrgyztelecom hopes to complete the move by 2015.
