HD-Book DTT adddendum published

The DGTVi association in Italy has recently published the addendum document to the HD-Book specification in order to support hybrid broadcast broadband services using MHP.

The addendum complements the HD-Book DTT 1.0 document in the area of media delivery, mostly on-demand but not necessarily restricted to that, over broadband lines. In fact whilst usage as MHP interaction channel of the broadband port therin required has been fully specified in the HD-Book DTT 1.0, no clear provision has been made for accessing media contents over broadband (IP) lines.
