Happy Birthday CableLabs!

This month sees CableLabs, the research and development consortium for the North American cable industry, celebrate its 20th anniversary. DVB has worked closely with CableLabs for many of those 20 years, particularly in recent times on middleware specifications, ultimately leading to the creation of the GEM based OCAP.

They’ve put together a special anniversary mini-site with a full timeline of key developments, including the important steps on the way to the birth of OCAP and its recent evolution to Tru2way.
