DVB @ IBC 2021
We regret to announce that the DVB Project is withdrawing from exhibiting at IBC2021.
Given the increasing number of COVID-19 infections in the Netherlands and the restrictions imposed by the Dutch government – which may yet be extended further – we believe it is inappropriate to ask staff and Members to attend an event of this scale in Amsterdam at this time.
We look forward to exhibiting at IBC2022 under more certain circumstances.
Here’s what we had been planning…
Our demo partners will show:
- How the same service offering can be deployed on a range of devices, each with different capabilities, combining the best of broadcast and broadband delivery;
- How DVB-I facilitates the roll-out of personalized services or new experiences with enhanced audio and video;
- How DVB-I allows seamless retrieval of services coming from any type of delivery network, including e.g. LTE-based 5G Broadcast;
- And how DVB-DASH offers optimized latency to any device.

DVB DRINKS
DVB Drinks will take place, as usual, on the opening day of the show at the DVB booth from 17:00 to 19:00. More information here…
Conference session

DVB is collaborating with the IEEE Broadcast Technology Society on a conference session focused on DVB’s latest technology developments. The programme is available on the IEEE BTS website.
