Building DTV in Africa

A joint SADIBA, DVB, EBU and BNE conference on Digital Television Capacity Building in Africa.

The conference will have a strong training- and capacity building focus. It will concentrate on competencies and skills required to plan-, implement and operate digital television systems and networks for both terrestrial and satellite TV.

The sessions and topics will be of a highly technical nature tailored towards engineering staff working within studios, head-ends, transmissions networks as well as those dealing with installations and receiving equipment. Colleagues supporting digital broadcasting activities in the associated management-, administrative-, policy- and regulatory environments will also benefit from attendance.
