Booth 5L5-03 – Demo

DVB will show the combination of three important DVB standards: UHD, DVB-S2 and DVB-CID: Clear Picture. Clear Transmission. Clear Identification. The demo shows the transmission of UHD content over a DVB-S2 signal that includes DVB-CID information, identifying the source of the transmission.

  • DVB-S2 – DVB Second Generation Satellite: The World’s Satellite Standard.
  • DVB-UHD – DVB work on UHD phase 2 and HDR in progress. Stay tuned.
  • DVB-CID – DVB’s ID solution to mitigate satellite interference.

Thanks to our DVB Member demo partners: Eutelsat, WORK Microwave, TeamCast and ROVER Instruments!

To learn more about DVB-CID and satellite interference reduction, visitors can also sign up for a CID Tour at BroadcastAsia/CommunicAsia 2016 on the CommunicAsia website.
