Estonia Starts DVB-T2 Trials
Levira and the Estonian public broadcaster ERR have signed a cooperation agreement to begin transmitting the channel ETV in DVB-T2.
Levira’s CEO Mart Einpalu said that although 250,000 homes in Estonia have HD sets, the quality of channels available in the format is meager. Levira points out that the DVB-T2 standard is already used in most neighbouring countries including Finland, Sweden, Russia and Ukraine.
