DVB World 2012 Ends on Dynamic Note

DVB World 2012 – Rome

Yesterday, DVB World 2012 ended on a dynamic note in Rome. From March 12 to March 14 around 160 DVB, digital TV, telecom, spectrum and energy policy experts attended over 25 presentations, 6 exhibition stands, a Master class session and many networking breaks, drinks and meals to help shape the future of digital TV around the world.

DVB World 2012 opened with a Future Shock keynote from Microsoft’s Dan Reed and the conference covered other key topics such as the European digital switchover deadline, the co-existence of broadcast and wireless broadband, spectrum efficiency, energy efficiency, and many other current and future digital TV topics. One of the operating words was dynamism, whether it’s the increasingly dynamic changes in the entertainment media industry or the dynamic ways of combining broadcast and broadband delivery.

You can read all about the topics covered and speakers on www.dvbworld.org and on David Wood’s DVB World blog.

See you next year on March 11-13, 2013!
