DVB-T2 trialled by ORS

The Austrian broadcast network operator Oesterreichische Rundfunksender (ORS) is trialling the DVB-T2  transmission standard on its DTT platform.
ORF1, ORF2 HD, HD Radio Ö1 as well as commercial broadcasters are expected to take part in the trial which is being broadcast in HD on UHF channel 65 from the Kahlenberg transmitting station near Vienna.
The trial which began on the 12th April and will continue for 12 months aims to discover the optimum choice of parameters to be used with the DVB-T2 standard.
