DVB-T2 pilot planned for Kazakhstan
TeamCast, based in Rennes (France) is to provide help and equipment for a DVB-T2 trial in the Kazakhstan city of Karaganda, together with the media operator AO Kazteleradio and V-LUX too.
With TeamCast’s proven equipment deployed for DVB-T2, V-LUX will be able to make all the in-field performance tests needed for this important trial, using this second generation terrestrial standard.
DVB-T2 has a greatly improved performance over other terrestrial delivery specifications and is already being trialled in The Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany and the Ukraine with services being deployed in Finland Italy and the UK.
