DVB-T2 officially adopted in South Africa


Communications Minister Roy Padayachie has officially announced South Africa’s adoption of the DVB-T2 transmission standard for DTT. He also confirmed that the date for analogue switch off is now December 2013 instead of November 2011 as previously stated. This is in line with SADC’s recommendations.
