DVB @ IBC 2011

In just a little over one month, IBC 2011 will again open its doors to demonstrate the latest broadcast technology solutions. As the world’s largest digital TV standard, DVB will again be present with a multitude of demos.

There will be three demos based on DVB-C2, DVB-T2 and DVB-GEM, each showing new applications that go beyond the delivery of the usual one-way livingroom TV services. Besides displaying a DVB-C2 iDTV, the DVB-C2 demo will show a Video on Demand service. The DVB-T2 demo introduces the recently announced T2-Lite profile of DVB-T2 that is optimized for reception on smalller and mobile devices. The third demo will be a DVB-GEM based OTT service running on an internet-connected receiver.

On top of these demos you will have the opportunity to follow presentations on what’s going on in the world of DVB, learn more about our other standards, upcoming events and of course to network with DVB and its various member companies present on the stand.
