DVB-H service to launch in Iraq

Mobision, part of the Communications Entertainment and technology group CET, will officially launch its commercial DVB-H services on 28 May.
Already services are available in all the major cities, including Basra and Baghdad, as part of a pilot launched at the end of 2008.
Users will require a Mobision Micro SD card to access the 20 television programme services available. Subscriptions are available using pre-paid cards charged on a monthly basis.
Samsung and Quantum currently provide the necessary receivers.
