DVB announces two new Members
The DVB Steering Board has endorsed the membership of InterDigital and Kineton, bringing to nine the number of new Members in 2019.
InterDigital
InterDigital works on innovation relevant to 5G and other key technologies, such as edge computing and standards-based machine-to-machine communications. Headquartered in Delaware, USA, the company has offices throughout the world. It recently announced that it will acquire the research and innovation team of Technicolor, a regular contributor to DVB since its foundation. InterDigital is also involved in several other SDOs, including ITU, IEEE, TIA, IETF, OMA and oneM2M.
Kineton
Kineton srl, based in Italy, is an engineering company that provides services and products. Kineton assists clients in the creation and development of their products and solutions in some of the major technological domains, such as media, ICT, telecommunications and automotive. Kineton is also a member of the HbbTV Association and the HD Forum Italia.
