DTT use grows in Hungary
A more than fivefold growth was recorded in the number of DVB-T MPEG-4 compatible receivers sold during the first half of 2010 compared with the same period of last year according to Antenna Hungaria. As a result of this increase 8% of Hungarian households already have a DVB-T ready receiver at home.
MiniDig TV now has 100,000 households using its service more than 12% of terrestrial households. The service which should be available to 95% of the population by the end of the year currently has 17 channels of which three are HD.
