DTT progress on track

The Czech public networks transition to DTT broadcasting is proceeding according to plan reports Broadband TV News.
The web based news sheet attributes these comments quoted in HN to Pavel Hanus who is in charge of the process. The report adds that by the end of September Multiplex 1, which is allocated to public TV, will reach 75% of the Czech Republic increasing to 93% by the end of the year.
The Czech Republic currently has four multiplexes and is converting to DTT on a region-by-region basis. The process should be completed by the 30th June 2012.
