DTT penetration reaches 11.3%


According to the Digitalisation Report 2009 published by the regulatory authorities (ALM), DTT penetration has reached 11.3% (4.2 million) of German TV households, an increase of 300,000 on the previous year. In all 55% of German households now access digital programmes from one or more of the delivery platforms.
DTT penetration is highest in regions where both commercial and public broadcast services are available.
