DTT market reorganises

The Czech transmission company Radiokomunikace (CRa) has strengthened its position in the country’s DTT market-place by acquiring the Czech Digital Group (CDG) from the Dutch SP D Corporation, reports Broadband TV News.
CRa already operates the country’s DTT multiplex 1 on behalf of the public broadcaster CT as well as multiplex 2, which carries a number of commercial services including TV Nova, Prima TV and TV Barrandov.
CDG operate the country’s third multiplex which carries Z1 and Public TV, while the fourth, multiplex is operated by Telefónica O2 on an experimental basis and carries CT HD, Nova HD and O2 Info.
