DTT Households reach 11.13 million

According to figures in the September DIGITA newsletter the number of terrestrial households relying on DTT for their primary TV viewing at the end of July was 11.13 million. This is an increase of 656,000 in a single month. During the month of July 1.1 million DTT receivers were sold of which 52% were STB’s and 48% were iDTV’s.
Since the launch of DTT services nearly 18 million DTT receivers have been sold.
Off this total 56.2% were STB’s and 43.8% were iDTV’s.
