DTT homes reach over 4 million


According to the latest Digitalisierungsbericht 2010, 4.167 million German homes now receive DVB-T transmissions, reports Broadband TV News.
Overall 23.1 million of Germany’s 37.5 million TV households now have access to digital television, up 6.7% from last year.
Cable is still the most popular means of delivery with 51.4% of households using it, of which 37.8% (7.3 million) of them receive digital programmes.
Satellite delivery is the most popular digital platform with 12.6 million households.
