DTT contracts amended

Antenna Hungária and Hungary’s National Media and Telecommunications Authority (NMHH) have made amendments to the contracts for the operation of DTT and digital radio concessions previously signed in September 2008.
The new agreements between the two parties will allow Antenna Hungária to use the second ‘B’ multiplex, hitherto employed for DVB-H, for DTT services.
Hungary is now expected to complete the transition to digital broadcasting in October 2012.
