DTT channels distributed on Hispasat 1E

Abertis Telecom, Spain’s leading TV signal distributor is using three transponders on the Hispasat 1E satellite to send DTT network signals to TV stations around the country. Up to 11 channels will be sent via the satellite.
The Hispasat 1E satellite was successfully launched at the beginning of 2011 and is Hispasat’s most powerful satellite. It transmits to both Europe and America. The new satellite has the capacity to transmit up to 600 HDTV channels and will also deliver 3DTV signals.
