Divitel implements DVB-T2 in Suriname

Video services provider Divitel has designed and delivered a television platform for Wise, a subsidiary of Suriname telecommunications service provider Telesur. The platform uses the DVB-T2 technology standard and will enable Wise to migrate its analogue television platform into a digital television platform. The hybrid TV system deployed at Wise enables interactivity (VoD) through internet. TV viewers in Suriname’s capital Paramaribo can now switch from analogue to digital TV services.
