Digital TV in 63% of homes


According to figures from Telecompaper the number of Dutch digital TV homes exceeded 5 million by the end of Q2, 2010. This means that 63% of TV homes in the Netherlands now receive digital signals.
KPN TV has 21.5% of the market with its combined DTT and IPTV services. The country’s largest cable operator, Ziggo has 33% of the market.
Cabler UPC and DTH provider Canal Digitaal Satelliet each have a market share of 16.4%.
